A corridor that is a window

Circulation is usually what is left over. This study treats it as the best room in the plan. Four rooms sit along one side of a corridor two and a half metres wide, and the other side is glass for its whole length.

Nothing else is asked of the walls. The cross section shows why: the light arrives across the floor rather than down it, so the corridor is bright at the hour people actually walk through it.
